Delays possible as emergency Severn Trent Water works lead to temporary Wolverhampton lane closure

Wolverhampton Council have warned of an overnight lane closure to make way for emergency water works.

Wolverhampton Council have announced a temporary inbound lane closure for Stafford Road to allow for emergency Severn Trent Water works.

The works, which are expected to be in place until Tuesday, will see a lane closure on Stafford Road, between the junctions of Three Tuns Lane and Barrington Close, leading to possible delays on the route.

A Wolverhampton Council spokesperson said: "Severn Trent Water emergency works mean a temporary inbound lane closure on Stafford Road, between the junctions of Three Tuns Lane & Barrington Close, expected to be in place into tomorrow (Tuesday)."

The temporary lane closure is expected to be lifted on Tuesday.
