Severn Trent Water works spell temporary road closure in Wolverhampton

Wolverhampton Council has announced that Allen Road, between properties 47 and 59, will be closed between 8am and 4pm to make way for water repair works.

The works will be carried out by Severn Trent Water and will see the road closed to traffic for one day only, with diversions in place.

Traffic will now instead follow Riches Street, Newhampton Road West, Clifford Street and vice versa.

A council spokesperson said: "Severn Trent Water work will mean the temporary closure of Allen Road in both directions between properties 47 - 59 between 8am - 4pm on Friday, December 12 only. 

"Diversion: Riches Street, Newhampton Road West, Clifford Street & vice versa."
