Scene of fatal Stourbridge crash that left woman dead and man in serious condition as police launch appeal for information

New images have shown the remnants of a tragic crash on Sunday (December 7) afternoon that left a woman dead and a man in a serious condition. 

The crash, which is said to have involved two vehicles, took place on the junction of Heath End Road and Farley Lane, Belbroughton, near Stourbridge, at around 4.43pm on Sunday.

A woman, the passenger of the first car, aged in her 70s, was found by emergency services teams in a critical condition, and despite the efforts of medical staff, she was sadly declared dead at the scene.

A man, the driver of the same car, was also treated for serious injuries and taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital under emergency driving conditions.

The new images show the poignant scene following the tragic events, with wreckage from the vehicles and medical equipment being seen spread across the road.
