West Midlands Fire and Rescue Service said they were called to the incident on Pleck Road, Walsall, shortly after 8.27pm.

In an update this morning (Friday December 5), the service said: “Two fire engines currently remain at the scene, damping down hotspots. There were no casualties or injuries. A structural engineer will attend the site this morning to assess damage. Fire Investigations will be ongoing over the weekend and into next week. We can also confirm Pleck Road has re-opened.”
