A shock explosion erupted at a fireworks storage unit on Pleck Road in Walsall last night.
West Midlands fire fighters were alerted to the blaze at 8.27pm and sent 11 fire engines, two brigade response vehicles and a hydraulic aerial ladder platform.
The fire was caught on camera as shocked locals posted online about it.
West Midlands Police supported the fire service by blocking the roads, which have since reopened.
By 8.10am WMFS said they were damping down hotspots as two fire engines remained at the scene.
