Faisal Hussain and Jassdeep Singh have both been jailed for their involvement in an attack where a man was assaulted and attacked with machetes on Barcroft Road, Wolverhampton, at around 4.30pm on 13 February this year.

An investigation was immediately launched and West Midlands Police officers carried out extensive CCTV enquiries to identify those involved and arrested Singh, and Hussain, later that month.

Hussain, of Goldhill Road, Handsworth, Birmingham, was jailed for six years after the 20-year-old previously pleaded guilty to conspiring to commit grievous bodily harm (GBH), and possession of a bladed article.

Singh, of Ingestre Road, Wolverhampton, was jailed for four years after the 21-year-old was found guilty of GBH following a trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court earlier this year.
