Man due in court after two women assaulted in Dudley

A man is appearing in court after two women were assaulted in Dudley.

Richard Taylor, aged 42, of Dudley, has been charged with assault with intent to commit robbery and assault by beating. 

It comes after West Midlands Police officers were called to Wolverhampton Street, Dudley, shortly before 9.30am, to reports that two women had been pushed into the road.

One of the victims received grazes to her face as a result of the attack. 

Taylor was remanded into custody to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court today.
