'It’s a real honour to be part of this important UK mission,' School of Coding & AI founder says as he's asked to join trade mission to Saudi Arabia
The founder and CEO of the UK’s largest computer science and coding company will join a high-level UK trade mission to Saudi Arabia next month, representing the UK’s growing education technology sector on the global stage.
The invite for School of Coding & AI's Manny Athwal, comes off the back of his attendance at the Grow Summit dinner at the House of Commons, where he met with entrepreneurs and policymakers to discuss the UK’s ambitions in innovation and technology.
Manny has been invited to represent the UK on the Saudi Arabia visit, which aims to encourage collaboration and drive innovation in education through new partnerships.

The Education Investment Saudi mission, taking place from December 2 to 3 in Riyadh, will be led by Professor Sir Steve Smith, the UK Government’s Special Representative to Saudi Arabia for Education and it will bring together investors, regulators and education providers from across both countries.
Manny’s participation follows a year of huge growth for School of Coding & AI, including the opening of a £2.5 million tech lab in Birmingham, the redevelopment of its Wolverhampton HQ, and recognition of Manny as one of The Times Newspaper and LDC's Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders.
Manny said: “It’s a real honour to be part of this important UK mission to Saudi Arabia.
“At School of Coding & AI, our goal has always been to make coding, computer science and AI education accessible to everyone – not just in the UK, but globally.
“This trade mission offers a fantastic opportunity to explore new partnerships and share our experience in using technology to empower the next generation.”
Manny’s attendance at the annual VIP Grow Summit dinner saw him speaking with leading entrepreneurs, investors and policymakers to discuss how the UK can strengthen its position as a global hub for innovation and technology.
Manny said: “It was an incredible evening discussing how the UK can position itself as global leaders in scaling up businesses from innovative start-ups to high-growth enterprises.
“It was also inspiring to connect with entrepreneurs, policymakers and industry leaders who share a vision for turning Britain into the best place in the world to start, grow and scale a company, especially in education and tech.
“As someone deeply involved in education, technology and entrepreneurship, I’m passionate about how we can equip the next generation of innovators with the skills, mindset and opportunities to make this vision a reality.”
