Woman arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences in Birmingham
West Midlands Police have arrested a woman on suspicion of terrorism offences in a pre-planned operation.
A woman has been arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences during a pre-planned operation by West Midlands Police in Birmingham today.
The 29-year-old was arrested at an address in the Aston area this morning and taken to a police station for questioning.

The woman was arrested on suspicion of encouragement of terrorism and on suspicion of dissemination of terrorist publications.
A force spokesperson said: "A woman has been arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences in a pre-planned operation in Birmingham today.
"The 29-year-old was arrested at an address in the Aston area this morning and taken to a police station for questioning.
"She was arrested on suspicion of encouragement of terrorism and on suspicion of dissemination of terrorist publications."
