Tragedy as man dies after being found 'unresponsive' in a Sutton Coldfield park
A man has died after being found unresponsive in a park in Sutton Coldfield.
Emergency services were called to the scene of Sutton Park, Sutton Coldfield, at around 5.55am on Sunday, following reports that a man had been found unresponsive.
Sadly, on arrival, it became clear that nothing could be done to save the man, and he was declared dead at the scene.

Yesterday, West Midlands Police said that the man's death is 'not currently being treated as suspicious', adding that officers remain in the park to offer reassurances to the community.
A force spokesperson said: "We were called to Sutton Park at around 5.55am this morning (Sun) after a man was found unresponsive.
"Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene. His death is not currently being treated as suspicious, and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
"Officers remain in the park to offer reassurance to the community."
The death is so far not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to a medical emergency at Sutton Park off Thornhill Road, Sutton Coldfield at 5.50am and sent three ambulances and a specialist paramedic to the scene.
"On arrival, crews found a man receiving CPR and immediately took over to administer advanced life support. Sadly, despite everyone’s best efforts, he could not be saved and was confirmed dead at the scene."
West Midlands Police have been approached for more information.
