One year on: Murder probe continues to find the killer of Birmingham man who was shot dead
Detectives hunting for the killer of a man have launched a fresh appeal for information on the first anniversary of the crime.
West Midlands Police said it was appealing for witnesses to come forward one year after Raad Asmael was killed after he was shot inside a car at around 11pm, which was parked at the junction of Rotton Park Road and City Road in Edgbaston in Birmingham on November 22 last year.
The 27-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. A second man was also injured, but recovered from his injuries.
Officers want witnesses or anyone with information to still come forward.

DCI Phil Poole, from the force Homicide Team, said: "We are continuing our investigation a year on from the fatal shooting of Raad. We have followed up several lines of enquiry but we are again appealing to anyone who was in the area to come forward with any information you may have. You may have spotted someone in the area, or a vehicle.
“No matter how small, all information is key to our investigation.
"We are also appealing to the wider public. If you know who was responsible, or you have any information, we are asking for you to come forward. We are continuing to support the family during this difficult time, who understandably want answers."
Contact the team via the force's Live Chat on its website, or by phone on 101 quoting crime reference number 20/944859/24 or phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
