Two of four lanes closed and 'major disruption' reported as vehicle breaks down on M6
Disruption has been reported on the M6 due to a vehicle breaking down on the route.
West Midlands Roads has warned of 'major disruption' to regular travel due to a vehicle breaking down on the M6 near Birmingham.
The incident was first reported by the roads authority at 3.03pm, with the group warning that two lanes of four have been shut between M6 (Spaghetti Junction) and Junction 7.

Delays of around 50 minutes are expected on the route, with the group warning that the delays are against 'expected traffic'.
On X, West Midlands Roads said: "The M6 northbound between Junction 6 and Junction 7. Broken down vehicle.
"Two of four lanes closed. There are currently delays of up to 50 minutes against expected traffic."
