Bloxwich youngster set to hit the heights after winning Junior Miss UK national title

They say all the world is a stage and that is certainly the case for one Bloxwich girl who has just been named Junior Miss UK

Angelica Pozorska, aged 9 is Junior Miss UK after three days of intense competition in London saw her come out on top. 

In a competition organised within Miss Teenager UK, she had to do an onstage interview and speech after taking part in two days of rehearsal for the final pageant and beat off competition from young girls from all over the country to come out on top.

In addition she won the title of Miss Popularity, earning the highest number of public votes

Angelica, from Bloxwich, who attends Field Road Academy, will now go on to represent England at the upcoming Children of the World international competition in Bali, Indonesia next year.

The winner of Junior Miss UK is Angelica Pozorska from Bloxwich aged 9. She will going abroad to Indonesia next year to compete in the  international section of the competition.

She used her experience from competing in pageants for the last five years, the first one being when she was just four and competed in Miss Diamond UK when she won the title of Mini Miss Talent.

Angelica is also a freestyle disco dancer with Devotion Arts, is on the books of a modelling agency and has lofty ambitions for the future.

She  said: "I want to combine the dancing and the pageants and eventually travel to Asia or America and compete and dance on stage and maybe in films."

Her mother Anna said: "It’s a remarkable achievement for such a young girl from our community but Angelica has shown a flair for performance since she was young. 

"Beyond the title, she has shown incredible confidence, kindness, and dedication and delivered a beautiful message in the competition about compassion and giving a voice to those who cannot speak for themselves."
