James Mattin, managing director and auctioneer at Bond Wolfe, explained that the prices were around half the current market value for similar properties in the area, reflecting the fact that both needed refurbishment.

The neighbouring Lichfield houses will be among scores of lots appearing in Bond Wolfe’s next auction which is due to start at 8.30am on Wednesday 10 December.
