Man arrested after three people seriously injured in crash in Codsall
A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing injury by careless driving following a serious collision in Codsall.
Police were called at 9.55pm last night (Thursday) to Stafford Lane after reports of a single-vehicle collision after which a car ended up on its roof.
Officers went to the scene alongside paramedics from the West Midlands Ambulance Service and crews from the Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service.
The road was closed for a number of hours while emergency services worked at the scene.
Three people from inside the car were taken to hospital with injuries believed to be serious.
A 24-year-old man, from Wigan, was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit through drink and drugs and causing serious injury by careless/inconsiderate driving. He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
