'One of our wolves is missing' Fallen wolf statue is taken away to be repaired after it comes down overnight
One of the iconic running wolves statues in Wolverhampton came down overnight and has been removed for examination and repair
It was one of three wooden wolf sculptures unveiled on the A449 Stafford Road in Wolverhampton six years ago to mark the £6.8m city north gateway scheme close to Wolverhampton Business Park.

Thousands of motorists on the busy stretch are used to the iconic statues as they make their way into or out of the city but one was missing this morning (Thursday).
Dog walker Stewart Kendrick was on his normal route last night when his pooch Frank found the statue on the ground.
