The plaques were installed at the memorial near Moxley's People's Centre to specifically recognise VE Day, VJ Day, The Korea Conflict and The Falklands War.

On Remembrance Sunday residents gathered at the site to mark the annual commemoration and admire the newly fitted additions which were purchased with the help of funding secured by Darlaston South ward representatives councillors Paul and Chris Bott on behalf of the community situated on the border with Walsall, Sandwell and Bilston.

The Moxley gathering featured a singer, a bugler and food was served after the act of remembrance.
