'A truly inspiring evening of glitz, glamour and generosity' - Guests raise thousands for Wolverhampton based charity with sparkling event
Over 200 guests stepped into a world of sparkle and celebration at the annual Promise Dreams Charity Ball and raised a six figure sum.
Held at The Grand Station in Wolverhampton city centre, this year’s theme - Glitz & Glamour - brought dazzling gowns, black-tie elegance and a stunning atmosphere to the iconic venue, setting the stage for what was an unforgettable night.
The event was hosted by comedian and personality Aaron James, with special guest former Wolves player Don Goodman, a long-standing patron of Promise Dreams, also in attendance and lending his continued support to the charity and its mission.

The charity grants dreams for seriously and terminally ill children, helping to create treasured memories, moments of joy and time together that families can hold onto forever.

Guests enjoyed a three-course dinner, live entertainment, dancing and heard heartfelt stories that highlighted the special and meaningful difference the charity brings to children and families across the UK.

A total of just over £100,000 was raised on the night.
Nikki Yeomans, charity manager at Promise Dreams, said the final total reflected the outstanding generosity of supporters who gave from the heart during the auction, raffle and fundraising moments of the evening - all determined to help make dreams come true for children who truly deserve something magical.
She said: “It was a beautiful and inspiring evening filled with laughter, emotion and kindness.
"We were overwhelmed by the generosity in the room. Every person there helped to create something truly special. These funds will help us give families precious memories that will last forever and we can’t thank everyone enough.
"Next year we will be celebrating 25 years of making dreams come true and 2026 will be full of excitement culminating in a very special 25th anniversary celebration at the end of the it,"
