M6 driver travelling 11 miles in wrong lane in Staffordshire given penalty
A motorist was given a penalty for ignoring lane signs on the M6 motorway in Staffordshire.
Instead of using the left lanes the driver stayed put in lane three for 11 miles forcing other motorists to overtake in lane four on Tuesday(4).
The errant motorist was pulled over by Staffordshire Police's road harm prevention officers and given a ticking off.

The team posted on X: "@StaffsRoadHarm Despite a rear matrix board showing to use left lanes this driver continued to sit in lane three on the M6 north for 11 miles causing everyone to go to lane four to pass.
"The driver taken into the services and dealt with for offences."
