Festive favourite with live soundtrack set to wow film fans
An iconic Christmas movies is set to visit Worcestershire and the Black Country, just in time for Christmas
The iconic 1951 film Scrooge is set visit Stourport and Stourbridge as part of a UK tour and for the first time will be screened with the film music played live.
By painstakingly transcribing the music scores and lines the Christmas Classic’s soundtrack will be performed ‘in concert’ by the FB Pocket Orchestra for a special festive performance at Stourbridge Town Hall, Dudley on December 17 billed as Scrooge Live.

Starring the legendary Alastair Sim as Ebenezer Scrooge, film goers will experience the production in a totally unique way with atmospheric sound effects, synchronisation and an immersive musical journey that takes the film to new audiences.
The Charles Dicken’s tale of Scrooge, A Christmas Carol and his journey with the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future is synonymous with everyone’s festive folklore.
The beloved tale of redemption and goodwill can now truly come to life and protect the cinematic history whilst taking the film to new audiences.
The sixteen date UK wide tour launches in Stourport on Sunday November 30 at The Civic before heading to a series of iconic venues across the country including St George’s Hall in Liverpool, Chichester and Worcester Cathedral.
