Wolverhampton man accused of murdering father near Phoenix Park told he will have to enter plea on November 26
The Wolverhampton man charged with murdering Navpreet Singh near Phoenix Park last week has been given a date when he must plead guilty or not guilty.
Jashan Singh, 20, appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court via video link from HMP Brinsford, today.
Wearing a grey sweatshirt Singh, of Cannock Road, only spoke to confirm his name at the hearing. Yesterday, he appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court and was charged with murder.
Navpreet Singh, a 26-year-old father, was taken to hospital with serious injuries at around 1.30am on October 22 and pronounced dead an hour later.
