Victim of attack in Wolverhampton car park named and pictured as three are arrested on suspicion of his murder

A man who was killed in Wolverhampton earlier this week has now been named as Navpreet Singh as three other men have been arrested in connection with his death.

Mr Singh, aged 26, went to hospital with serious injuries in the early hours of Wednesday after he was attacked in a car park off Dudley Road but was confirmed dead shortly after.

Police enquiries have found he was attacked by a group at around 11.30pm on Tuesday evening (October 21).

A 20-year-old man is currently in police custody after being arrested on suspicion of murder this morning. He will be questioned in due course.

Two other men, aged 23 and 34, were arrested on suspicion of murder in the last few days and have since been bailed pending further enquiries.

A police cordon which has been in place while investigation work was carried out is is now being removed.
