Crack cocaine and heroin recovered from vehicle that failed to stop for police in Halesowen

A man has been charged a man after police recovered heroin, crack cocaine and knives from a "suspicious" vehicle they had been pursuing in Halesowen.

The car failed to stop for officers in Church Lane and was then abandoned near the High Street just before 11.30am yesterday (Monday).

A man was detained after a foot chase and officers recovered heroin, crack cocaine along with two lock knives in the area.

Officers from West Midlands Police's County Lines Task Force have now charged Theo Henry with possession of class A drugs with intent to supply, having a knife in a public place, driving without due care and attention and failing to stop.

The 33-year-old from Handsworth has been remanded to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today (Tuesday).
