It comes after the pair were spotted outside of an address on Raymond Street, Birmingham, handling a gun, launching a manhunt in the area.

West Midlands Police were supported by aerial units from the National Police Air Service (NPAS), and following an extensive search, the pair were spotted leaving the area in a vehicle.

They were then spotted exiting the vehicle before discarding a number of items.

Both were stopped by officers and detained, and alongside Police Dog Wez, officers managed to track the discarded items, which included mobile phones, cash, keys and a shotgun.

The two were arrested on firearms charges before being subsequently charged.
