Three charged with 'zombie knife' offences in Birmingham
Three people have been charged following an investigation into the sale of zombie knives in Birmingham.
West Midlands Police said the two teenagers and a man were charged by the force's Guardian Taskforce on Wednesday morning.
One of the teenagers, aged 15, was charged with possession of an offensive weapon.
The 17-year-old boy was charged with robbery, intimidating a witness, and combat knife selling.
Neither can be named for legal reasons.
Roharni Wright, 18, from Kings Heath, Birmingham, was also charged with possession of an offensive weapon.
All three were remanded in custody..
A spokesperson for the force said: "Project Guardian is a specialist taskforce which tackles knife crime and youth violence.
"There is particular emphasis on reducing knife crime, through a range of tactics from plain-clothed operations to high visibility patrols.
