Dangerous driver jailed and banned from the road after police chase through Wolverhampton
A Wolverhampton dangerous driver who led police on a nine minute chase through residential streets, crashing into cars, has been jailed.

Luke Cherrington, 35, was sentenced at Wolverhampton Crown Court after pleading guilty to dangerous driving, failing to provide a specimen and driving without insurance.
The court was shown footage of the chase which started during rush hour on Tuesday, July 1, at 5.20pm. Cherrington was driving a white Mercedes with cloned number plates and immediately acted suspiciously when a police patrol car began following him.
Prosecuting, Miss Daniella Davidson-James said: "During the nine minute chase the defendant reached speeds of 60mph in 30mph residential streets. He mounted pavements, collided with other vehicles, drove the wrong way round a roundabout and can be seen swerving in and out of traffic.
"The pursuit finally ended when the defendant jumped out of the moving Mercedes and ran down the road, letting the car coming to a natural stop which luckily did not cause another accident."
