Man arrested following large cannabis seizure in Solihull

Officers from West Midlands Police's Solihull Response team were patrolling around the area at around midnight when they spotted two vehicles, a car and a van, driving at speed on Blossomfield Road.

The two vehicles failed to stop for officers before the van was found abandoned.
After searching the van, officers found a one tonne bulk bag full of cannabis.
A 37-year-old man was then located nearby and arrested on suspicion of possession of Class B drugs with intent to supply. He remains in custody as police enquiries continue.
A force spokesperson said: "If you spot suspicious activity in your area call us on 101 or message us on the Live Chat function on our website.
"In an emergency always call 999."
