A man has been charged after police recovered a quantity of class A drugs whilst on patrol in West Bromwich town centre.

A man has been charged after police recovered a quantity of class A drugs whilst on patrol in West Bromwich town centre.

Officers were on patrol near Springfield Crescent on Friday afternoon, October 10 when they spotted a man acting suspiciously.

After search, a quantity of cocaine and heroin was seized.

Abdul Hanif, aged 44 of no fixed address has been charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply. 

He has been remanded in custody and due to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today (Monday).
