Man and woman told they will have until November to enter plea concerning death of Chereiss Bailey

A man and woman charged in connection with the murder of Chereiss Bailey will have until November to enter a plea

John Anslow and Hayley-Marie Ferguson appeared in court again after being charged in in connection with the death of Chereiss Bailey.

Anslow, 64, of West Bromwich, appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court via video link from HMP Hewell. Ferguson, 41, also of West Bromwich, was in the dock due being given bail. 

Anslow is charged with murder and preventing a lawful and decent burial, while Ferguson, 41, also of West Bromwich, has been charged with assisting an offender and preventing a lawful and decent burial. 

Their arrests on Wednesday came after a body was discovered in a canal near Ryders Green Road earlier this week.
