Two London men charged with burglary and kidnap offences following Dudley assault

Two men from the south London area have been charged with kidnap and burglary offences following an incident in Dudley.

Tai Diedrick, aged 27, from Croydon, and Aman-ra Teko, aged 23, from Lambeth, have both been charged with kidnap, aggravated burglary, possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and possessing a knife. 

It follows an incident in Dudley on October 5, where two men armed with weapons gained entry to an address and a man was assaulted.

Money was then demanded from the man before an attempted kidnapping. 

The arrests were made at an address in the London area, before being taken back to the West Midlands. The case was investigated by Dudley Police local CID officers. 

Both men were remanded to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on Wednesday for a first hearing.

A force spokesperson said: "We have charged two men with kidnap, aggravated burglary, possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and possessing a knife. 

"It follows an incident on 5 October in Dudley where two men armed with weapons gained entry to an address and a man was assaulted. Money was then demanded before an attempted kidnap."
