Full police statement after teenager stabbed outside Birmingham Bullring
Police have released a statement after a 17-year-old suffered a knife injury to his arm outside the Bullring shopping centre in Birmingham.
West Midlands Police has appealed for information after they were called to a disorder near the entrance to the Bullring, in Birmingham, shortly after 5pm on Sunday afternoon.
It comes after police were called to the stairs near the iconic bull statue, where they found a boy who had received injuries to his arm.

Following the discovery, the walkway next to the old Zara store was cordoned off, with officers being seen to stand guard nearby.
The boy was treated for injuries 'not believed to be life-threatening', before being taken to hospital.
Now, West Midlands Police have appealed for information around the incident, asking anyone who may have seen the 'disorder' to get in touch immediately.

A force spokesperson said: "We were called to a disorder which broke out close to the Bullring shortly after 5pm, Sunday.
"A 17-year-old boy received a non-life-threatening stab injury to his arm and was taken to the hospital for treatment."
Anyone with information is asked to contact West Midlands Police via their 101 number, or alternatively, on the Live Chat service on their website, quoting the reference number.
The force added: "The police added: 'We are appealing for witnesses or for anyone with any information to contact us on 101 quoting crime reference number 20/399529/25."
