Former staff member of Brierley Hill Care Home tells court manager accused of altering will 'was a pathological liar'
The former manager of a Brierley Hill Care Home on trial for defrauding vulnerable residents has been called a 'a pathological liar' by a former employee.
Jamiel Slaney-Summers , 65, was arrested last week after not providing the correct medical paperwork to Wolverhampton Crown Court for being absent during her trial.
The former manager of Amberley Care Home is on trial accused of theft and abusing her position for financial gain after a vulnerable resident's will was allegedly changed in favour of her and the home's owners.
Graham Walker, aged 74, and Lyn Walker, aged 71, both of Ribbesford Close, Cradley, also in the dock accused of dishonestly abusing their position to make financial gain.
Slaney-Summers, of Raven Hays Road, Northfield, was arrested, handcuffs and kept in the courts cells on Friday after Judge Jonathan Butterfield KC was forced to issue a bench warrant on Thursday after the defendant texted 'I wont be in tomorrow'.
