'It's got to be pretty bad' - 'Major disruption' as Dudley road closes following crash near Merry Hill
A Dudley road has closed following a collision near Merry Hill.
A road in Dudley is expected to be closed throughout the night following a 'serious crash' near Merry Hill shopping centre in Brierley Hill.
The crash, which took place at around 5pm, has seen Level Street closed at its junction with Pedmore Lane, with heavy traffic forming near the traffic lights on the route.

West Midlands Roads warned of heavy delays in the area, with disruptions being worsened by ongoing roadworks on The Embankment, near Merry Hill.
On X, the group said: "Level Street junction of Pedmore Lane, Brierley Hill. Road closed.
"Collision at the traffic light crossroads. Heavy traffic congestion in the area.
"Reminder that The Embankment is also partially closed due to metro extension works."

Pictures from the scene showed the extent of the police cordon, with three sets of cordons being seen in place down Level Street.
While it is unknown as yet the severity of the incident, the road is expected to be closed throughout the night.
One driver, who was at the time stuck in traffic, said: "It's horrible. We have been stuck here for about 20 minutes now. It only really takes eight minutes to get down this road normally.
"I heard it's a crash and that it's pretty bad. It seems bad if they have closed all the roads."

Isabelle Palmer, 28, who had pulled over near Narrowboat Way, said: "All the roads near Merry Hill are closed. I was trying to pick up my sister.
"It's got to be pretty bad. You can see the lights from the police cars all the way down Hurst Lane and Level Street. I hope everyone is okay."
