Family say body of Wolves fan found dead in Spain won't be brought home for 'a long time' as fundraiser passes £4,000
A GoFundMe page raising money for the family of a Wolves fan found dead in woodland near a Spanish town where he was staying has passed £4,000 in donations.
The body of Wolves fan Josh Rogers was discovered in a wooded area near Lloret de Mar, a town on the Costa Brava, on Tuesday, September 23, just four days after he had flown out to Spain.
A fundraiser organised by family friend Kimberley Lewis has now been set up to support the family of the 33-year-old, who was from Bloxwich.

In an update posted on the GoFundMe page, Josh's sister Ashley shared news that the family face a delay in being able to bring his body home to the UK.
"We’ve just received the devastating news that it will be a long time before we can bring Josh home, as we await the results of DNA testing," she said. "In a few days, his mum will have to return from Spain without her son — only his belongings — and still unable to see him.
"Both mum and Stu have fought tirelessly since arriving in Spain. They’ve done absolutely everything in their power to get answers and bring Josh home.
"Their strength and determination have been nothing short of heroic. Josh will get justice for whatever has happened.
"We truly believe someone out there knows something - even the smallest detail could help.
"If you have any information, please come forward. Reach out, share, post - anything that could lead us closer to the truth.
"The support we’ve received through this GoFundMe has been overwhelming. We’re deeply grateful to every single person who’s donated, shared, or sent love.
"Please continue to support if you’re able — the costs of bringing Josh home are immense, and that’s before we even begin to face the heartbreak and expense of funeral arrangements. Thank you for standing with us."
