Members of a Wolverhampton community have shared their shock and sadness following the death of a woman on their 'quiet' street.
It comes after emergency services discovered a woman in her 30s with serious injuries at an address on Finchfield Road, at around 8.20pm on Monday night.
A man, aged 41, who is understood to be known to the woman, was arrested on suspicion of murder following the incident, with West Midlands Police saying that they are not currently looking for anyone else in relation to the investigation.
Now, residents have shared their sadness at the shocking events, with some saying that the incident 'is out of character' for the area.
