Temporary lane closure for emergency Wolverhampton water works
A Wolverhampton road is set for a temporary lane closure to make way for crucial water works.

Severn Trent Water has announced the temporary closure of one lane of Stafford Road, Wolverhampton, to make way for water works along the route.
The works will take place between the junctions of Three Tuns Lane and Barrington Close, with the lane closure expected to remain in place until Wednesday, October 1.

A Severn Trent Spokesperson said on X: "Severn Trent Water emergency works mean a temporary lane closure on Stafford Road inbound, between the junctions of Three Tuns Lane and Barrington Close, are expected to remain in place until Wednesday."
