Unsafe bridge serving bridleway near Stafford closed for repairs
An unsafe bridge used by pedestrians and horse riders near Stafford has been closed for repairs.
A Staffordshire County Council notice said the bridle path in Gayton near Amerton will be closed to the public between Moor Lane and Parkside Lane for at least six months or until the risk of danger is over.
The notice states: " The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 due to the unsafe condition of the bridge and subsequent works required.
