Accident blocks main road in Bloxwich and causes major tailbacks
An accident in the centre of Bloxwich is causing traffic congestion with the high street blocked
The accident happened on Friday afternoon on High Street and Bloxwich Road at the junction of Victoria Avenue.
West Midlands Roads is reporting the road blocked. Traffic sensors on the AA Traffic news website are showing heavy traffic from the high street between Victoria Avenue and Bell Lane/Lichfield Road
Motorists are advised to allow extra time for their journey and to consider alternative routes where possible.
It is also affecting bus services, with National Express West Midlands reporting the 31 32 and X51 will be diverting in both directions via Sand Bank and Elmore Green Road.
