Police have launched a manhunt for a man they want to speak to in connection with a murder in Whitmore Reans.

West Midlands Police have launched a manhunt for a man they want to talk to in connection with the fatal shooting of Duaine Mills, aged 28, in Whitmore Reans, on Friday morning.

It comes after police were called to Leicester Street just after 3.10am on Friday to reports of shots being fired.

On arrival, officers discovered two people in a vehicle on the road, with Duaine later being pronounced dead at the scene. 

The second man, aged in his 30s, was taken to the hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.

Now, police have asked for help in looking for Mohammed Maneer Khan, aged 38, in connection with the murder.

Maneer Khan, who is also known as 'Manny', is known to have links to the Wolverhampton area, with officers saying that they have already made 'numerous attempts' to locate and arrest him. 

Senior investigating officer, Jenny Birch, from the forces' Homicide Team, said: "We’ve been working around the clock since Friday’s shooting to establish what happened and who was responsible.

“We have already made a number of attempts to locate and arrest Khan, and now we are asking for the public’s help so that we can bring him into custody.

“Duaine’s murder has left his family devastated, and we are determined to get justice and the answers they deserve."

Anyone who has seen Khan is urged not to approach him, and instead call 999 immediately.
