The festivities at Brierley Hill Market were part of the national Heritage Open Days festival, which sees thousands of volunteers across England organise free events each September to showcase the country's rich history and culture.

The organisers of the event invited everyone to dress in their best 1920s fashion while attending.

The market traders dressed up in 1920s costumes and chatted to visitors about the history of their stalls.
