Black Country police arrest a cat burglar suspect who is also accused of two shoplifting offences - and they want to find the owner of the puss
Police are searching for the owner of a cat they believe was stolen by a shoplifting suspect in Wednesbury
Wednesbury Town Police officers arrested the man yesterday (Wednesday) for two shop thefts in Friar Park.
The thief was carrying a cat at the time.

The team posted on social media: "Wednesbury Officers arrested a male this morning for x2 shop thefts from the FRIAR PARK area.
"The male also had the below cat in his possession. This wasn't his cat."
Pet owners in the area are being asked if they recognise the moggy, which appears to have one eye in the photo the police shared.
The police team added: "If anyone recongises the below cat, it is currently at HILL TOP VETS 4 PETS."
Pete Woodcock replied on X, formerly Twitter: "He was a cat burglar."
