Smethwick drug dealer jailed after being caught selling cocaine by eagle-eyed police officers

A Smethwick drug dealer has been jailed after being caught selling cocaine by police officers.

Hassan Khan was challenged by police officers outside his home in Durban Road, Smethwick, on July 10 last year.

The 23-year-old ran off and threw two bags over a fence which were found to contain 12 grams of cocaine. He had £640 and two telephones and was charged with possessing cocaine with intent to supply.

He also had a baseball bat in his Audi and was charged with possession of an offensive weapon. He was sentenced at Wolverhampton Crown Court yesterday (Friday) after being found guilty by a jury.
