Police issue update after boy, 17, stabbed at Stourport Carnival

A second teenager has been bailed following a stabbing at Stourport Carnival last weekend.

The incident happened at around 9pm on Saturday, September 6 in Severn Meadows when a 17-year-old boy received stab wounds that are not thought to be life threatening or life changing.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is now on bail.

Now, a second boy, also aged 17, was bailed after being arrested on suspicion of assault on Monday, September 8.

Detective Constable Dan Pickford said: "We are no longer looking for any other suspects, but we do continue to appeal to members of the public who saw what happened or for anyone with information that would help with our enquiries, to please get in touch."
