Gas mains repairs the cause of temporary road closure near Dudley
Motorists will face diversion for about a month while gas mains work is carried out in Brierley Hill.
A council notice states: "Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make the following Order - to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Kittiwake Drive, Brierley Hill, for the purpose of gas mains repairs being carried out on or near the affected road.
"The order will come into operation on September 15 and will remain in force until October 13 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18months.
"Traffic will be diverted via Shearwater Drive, Nuthatch Drive, Stamford Road, Waterfall Road, Bagley Street, Caledonia, Woods Lane, and vice versa. There will be access to frontages and for emergencies."
