Jahzeen Carpenter, 39, of Himley Court, Dudley, is standing trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court charged with assisting an offender (murder) to evade arrest by police.

Carpenter's sister Nadine Taylor, 45, from the same address, was also charged with the same offence but is not standing trial due to ill health.

When asked why her sister was searching online for articles about Cody Fisher's murder at Crane nightclub and for references of her son, Carpenter said: "I cannot comment on what she was doing because I was not with her at the time, just like she could not comment what I was doing."
