Boy, 15, on trial for attempted murder after 14-year-old stabbed in Oldbury

A 15-year-old boy has gone on trial for attempting to murder a 14-year-old in the latest case of knife-related violence involving children.

The trial, on charges of attempted murder and wounding with intent, come after a teenager was found with serious stab wounds in Brunel Road, Oldbury, n January 4, this year.

West Midlands Police arrested a 15-year-old boy in Tipton and charged him with attempted murder,  wounding with intent and possessing a knife in a public place. 

The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is standing trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court after he pleaded not guilty to the charges.
