Mother of Cody Fisher murderer standing trial for assisting an offender after the 2022 Boxing Day killing in Birmingham
The mother of murderer Kami Carpenter, who stabbed to death footballery Cody Fisher in a Digbeth nightclub in Birmingham on Boxing Day in 2022, is standing trial for assisting a defender.
Kami Carpenter, 23, was found guilty of murdering Cody Fisher at the Crane nightclub in Digbeth in Birmingham at the city's crown court last year alongside his co-defendant Remy Gordon. He was given life imprisonment with a minimum term of 25 years.
His mother, Jahzeen Carpenter, aged 39, from Himley Court, Lower Gornal, Dudley, is standing trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court for assisting an offender who committed murder.
