Smethwick sex pest jailed after groping woman who sat next to him on a bus
A Smethwick sex pest who assaulted a woman on a bus for nine minutes breaking the conditions of his sexual harm prevention order has been jailed.
Shaid Akhtar, from Bearwood Road, was already banned from sitting next to females and girls when he put his hand underneath the bum of a woman who sat next to him on a bus.
Akhtar pleaded guilty to sexual assault and breaking the conditions of a sexual prevention harm order at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court and he was sentenced at the city's Crown Court yesterday (Thursday).
The 45-year-old was arrested and remanded in custody after being caught on bus CCTV assaulting the woman in October last year. Police found cannabis on him when he was arrested.
