Jailed: Bilston yob who 'pounded' homeowner and stabbed him in leg

A Bilston yob who barged into the home of man before battering and stabbing him has been jailed.

Cameron Jones beat his victim with such force he broke his dentures and was only stopped when a table was thrown at him.

Jones, of Mill Street, pleaded guilty to assault causing actual bodily harm at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court. 

Jones, 31, was sentenced at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Wednesday, over the assault on March this year. 

A 2.10am a homeowner heard a knock at the door of Jospeh Bell's flat in Bilston. Jones knocked the door and claimed to be a friend of a friend. When the door was opened he attacked Mr Bell.

Prosecuting, Robert Cowley said: "The defendant punched Mr Bell, then repeated punched his victim, breaking his dentures and loosening teeth.
