The widely adored Bingley Hall Stafford Antique Fair, organised by Continuity Fairs, is to return again this weekend, with this year's event to be joined by star guests, BBC's Bargain Hunt.

The antique and collectables event will take place at Staffordshire County Showground's prestigious Bingle Hall, where lines of tables will be laid out for potential buyers to find an amazing bargain.

The event is a must-visit for collectors and bargain hunters across the country, with thousands of people visiting the event each year to grab a deal from the group's independent sellers.

Nick Bayliss, owner of Continuity Fairs, said: "We're returning to Stafford with lots of Antiques and collectables waiting for a new home. There is really something for everyone here.

"Existing stall holders are joined by some new arrivals this time, waiting to show off their stock. With lots of unusual not on the high street gifts for that special person, or you could just simply get that new piece for yourself."

However, if finding an amazing antique wasn't enough, this year the group is excited to be joined by the presenters of the star BBC competition show, who are appearing at the event for the very first time.

The show sees two teams, one red and one blue, who both attempt to find the best deal possible at antique shops and fairs across the country, all to a budget of only £300.

Mr Bayliss added: "The TV cameras, along with the red and blue teams, will try to source three items each, with their budget of £300, which will then be taken to auction in Derby to see if they can make a profit.

"They will be guided by two experts, who have a wealth of knowledge to help them with their purchases. So why not come and see how it is all done and see if you can pit your wits against the dealers and grab yourself a bargain."

BBC camera crews will be filming at the Staffordshire County Showground on both Saturday and Sunday, and will see the two teams joined by two secret experts, who will help them select the best items from the show, before they are whisked away to auction in Derby.

Tickets for the event are payable on arrival in cash or card, with the organisers saying that dogs are more than welcome to join in the deals, and catering is available on site.

The event kicks off at 8.30am on Saturday, with doors closing at 5pm, and the same on Sunday.

Tickets for Saturday start at £10 for the early spot, between 8.30am and 10pm, with tickets from 10am to 5pm being on sale for £5.

On Sunday, all-day tickets can be purchased for £5.
